We Are a Separate Company
First and foremost, Buildify is a completely independent company from IdeaPros. While we have supported some of their partners with app development and resources in the past, we are not affiliated with IdeaPros’ financial or internal decisions.
Our mission has always been to empower creators and entrepreneurs, and we remain focused on providing high-quality tools and services for app development, regardless of our past collaborations with IdeaPros or its partners.
Why the Name Change?
In December, we rebranded from Ozone to Buildify after environmental organizations with patents on the name “Ozone” requested that we make a change to support their mission. We agreed to this in the spirit of collaboration, maintaining our nonprofit branch, Ozone Gives, to drive initiatives aligned with tech equity and environmental sustainability.
Buildify reflects our expanded offerings and ensures our identity aligns with the growing scope of our services. Despite this name change, our commitment to supporting your ideas and projects remains unchanged.

What is happening with IdeaPros?
IdeaPros is officially closing down operations. As a result, ongoing projects and partnerships will need to transition to new arrangements.
What does this mean for my project?
Each project will need to be reviewed individually to determine its status, outstanding balances, and the best course of action for moving forward.
Can I continue working with the same development team?
If your project was developed by a third-party firm (like OzoneBuild), you may have the option to continue directly with them. However, any prior agreements with IdeaPros will not transfer over and will need to be reassessed.
What happens if I already made payments to IdeaPros?
If you made payments to IdeaPros, you will need to check with them regarding financial settlements. Any outstanding balances owed directly to the development firm (if applicable) will need to be cleared before further work can continue.
My project was assigned to a development team, but I don’t know the details. How can I find out?
If you are unsure which development firm was working on your project, you will need to verify this with IdeaPros. If your project was assigned to OzoneBuild or another external development firm, they can check their records to confirm the firm you were assigned to and guide you properly by placing you in direct contact with them.
What happens to my app’s database and backend services?
If your app relies on a backend managed by IdeaPros or a third party, you will need to ensure ongoing payments for hosting, maintenance, and API subscriptions. Failure to do so may result in service disruptions.
What if I want to continue development?
If you wish to continue development, you will need to establish a new agreement with a development firm. If you were working with OzoneBuild, we can provide a new Scope of Work (SOW) and pricing options for ongoing development.
Is my app currently in progress?
If you have not met with our team at Buildify or joined a Coverage Plan (buildifyhq.com/coverage), then we are not actively working on your app. Additionally, if you were working with IdeaPros, we have likely not begun progress on your app, as they have not relayed your idea to us for development.
Are we a separate company?
Yes, Buildify is an independent company. We are not part of IdeaPros, nor are we involved in their financial, legal, or operational matters.
Did IdeaPros pay for development costs?
In some cases, IdeaPros agreed to pay for development, but they stopped doing so by Q2 or Q3 of this year. Outstanding invoices for development were not paid, resulting in paused progress for many projects. Additionally, there have been no new development investments from IdeaPros for approximately eight to nine months.
How long will it take to complete my app?
Timelines depend on the stage of your project and its complexity. However, we can typically deliver an MVP in as little as four weeks, ensuring you can quickly test and validate your idea.
